Out of the total number of municipalities, 31 are not members of SICEC, the intermunicipal union. Consequently, residents in these municipalities incur higher costs for the cremation of their deceased loved ones.

For residents in non-SICEC member municipalities, the fees for cremation, scattering of ashes, and the ceremony amount to 975 Euros.
This includes 750 Euros for the cremation, 100 Euros for scattering the ashes, and 125 Euros for the ceremony.

For residents of member municipalities, the bill drops to 625 Euros, which is 350 Euros less.
(500 Euros for cremation, 50 Euros for scattering, and 75 Euros for the ceremony)

Moreover,< children under the age of 13 are eligible for a discounted rate, paying only half of the applicable fees.
